St. Elizabeth businessman Lumsden Legister otherwise called "Lazarus" and six other men accused in the illicit guns for drugs trade between Jamaica and Haiti were again remanded when they appeared before the Half Way Tree Criminal Court on Friday February 8th.
The men were charged two weeks ago following top level investigations by members of Operation Kingfish.
The other accused are businessman Luddy Banton; Felix Dennis; Horace McKenzie; Richard Graham; Kenrick Bennett and Andrew Reid.
They are charged with conspiracy to import guns and ammunition into Jamaica and conspiracy to export ganja.
Defence attorneys for the men came today prepared to apply for bail, but were forced to delay the application because Legister and Banton were not brought from the Horizon Remand Centre.
The bail application is to be made on Tuesday February 12th.
